Explore the beautiful River Wensum as we adventure to a special oasis in the heart of the city during sunset. Enjoy SUP Yoga with @yogawithlucya where you’ll be able to simply relax in nature or unwind and stretch towards more challenging movements. Mindfully paddling back along the riverbank for optional wild swimming and/or well-earned pub refreshments. All ages and abilities are welcome.

We enjoy escaping to the beautiful luxurious Quaker Barns for our retreat weekends of Yoga, Mindfulness and more! Staying in the unique, light, spacious and tranquil Barn and feeling at home in the rural countryside. I guide us through a variety of Yoga styles to help lay the foundations and deepen your Yoga practice...

Starting with fun dynamic Vinyasa Yoga flows that enable you to connect movement with the breath. We create space for us all to have our own experience and explore our awareness. Each student supported on their journey with variations and adaptations for injuries, health conditions and physical limitations. Using the elements from Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda to aid in restoring the body safely and creating deep relaxation and harmony. With Restorative Hatha Yoga and Guided Mindfulness Meditation we will explore the 8 limbs of yoga; the practices and observations, postures, breathing, withdrawal of the senses, focusing, meditation and oneness. Sessions will incorporate Binds where we will exercise opening, releasing and relaxing in postures longer to feel the benefits. Also Bandhas (stomach, chin and root locks) to allow us to practice controlling and directing our energy in the body. During Yin and Yoga Nidra sessions we explore Mudras; playing with hand gestures to help visualise and channel calming energy. Finally practicing mantras: repeating affirmations to focus us and increase our sensitivity and alertness. With optional Creative Workshops such as Journaling, Vision Boarding, Moonology Mandalas, Shamanic Fire Medicine Ceremonies, Tarot, Astrology and Soundbaths. These Creative Workshops intentionally raise our vibrations, enable us to share what we are grateful for in the present, lessons learnt in the past and manifest for the future. We can let go of what no longer serves us, see feelings, thoughts and patterns that have been holding us back in order to change and break old habits and stories. Making space to focus our intention on new dreams and what we want to create and invite in, now and for the year ahead. Together we will hold and share the space, allowing the deep, clearing, cleansing, purifying power of retreating to transform us all!

I offer Complementary Treatments throughout the retreat tailored to your individual requirements. Deep Tissue, Relaxation Massage, Reflexology and Reiki. Personalised 1:1 Yoga Sessions sharing elements of Ayurveda, the Indian health system to create your own yoga practice to take home with you. Also Hypnotherapy & NLP Coaching Sessions, Tarot & Astrology Consultations and Crystal & Sound Healing. All meals are included and can be adapted to suit your dietary requirements with a selection of teas, coffee and refreshments available anytime throughout the weekend.

We enjoy our Yoga Spa Day at Park Farm Hotel, a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! This blissful retreat is set in 200 acres of idyllic countryside, a few miles south of Norwich. The perfect spot to relax and unwind for the day…

Then finishing our morning with warming nourishing seasonal lunch that can be adapted to suit any dietary requirements with a selection of teas, coffee and refreshments available throughout. Bliss!

Program:

TEA & TAROT 9am: Enjoying herbal teas and choosing a Tarot card to create a personal intention and focus for this time of year. Using Tarot as a fun tool for mindful self enquiry we invite in the mystery and wonder of these different cards, concepts and rich perspectives and apply them to our daily lives.

HATHA/ VINYASA YOGA & MINDFULNESS MEDITATION 9:30: A fun, dynamic Vinyasa flow for all, connecting movement with the breath, creating space for your own experience and explore your awareness. Then restorative Hatha Yoga using elements from Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda to aid in balancing the body safely and creating deep relaxation and harmony. Through mindfulness meditation we will learn to master the art of embracing the essential skills of mindful living as we meditate to create clarity and purpose, helping you respond rather than react. Improving our relationships, managing stress, anxiety and improving sleep.

CREATIVE WORKSHOP & REFRESHMENTS 10:30: Using NLP Coaching (Neuro Lingustic Programming) and journaling we embody the stories and symbols of the Astrological Wheel! Through the lens of the 12 Zodiac Signs we journey to find the metaphors and messages that resonate with us now. As we journal we embrace the magnetic powerful wisdom of Moonology, the current moon phase and embody this living metaphor to support our visions and dreams! Shoot for the moon, love to the moon and back and stay wild moon child!

YIN & YOGA NIDRA (YOGIC RELAXATION) 11am: As we play with gentle movement exploration, we gradually extend the depth of our yoga poses and length of time spent in them with ease and comfort, we promote our flexibility and stimulate our flow of energy, free from physical distractions. Using the support of blocks, straps and eye pillows to allow our bodies to completely soften, surrender, and come inwards effortlessly. Then using relaxing Hypnotherapy visualisations to practice quieting the overactive conscious mind, slowing down brain waves and unwinding the nervous system. Using guided imagery, body scanning and meditation to aid harmony and feelings of rejuvenation.

REIKI GIFT 12pm: We reflect on our day so far with a cuppa and enjoy a little gift to take away with us. Infused with Reiki ‘universal life energy’ we sow the seeds of our intentions into our gift with caringly placed hands and touch, focusing us for the weeks ahead! Promoting emotional release, increased sensation and awareness and awakena deeper sense of connection to our surroundings, with others, seeing things a new, brighter, richer, more vivid and recognising the autumnal beauty all around.

VEGAN/ VEGETARIAN MEAL 12:30pm: Coming together to enjoy warming, nourishing, seasonal soup, sides and locally produced desert and fruit. You are welcome to explore the garden and facilities of Park Farm Hotel at your leisure.

SPA, TREATMENTS, GYM & LEISURE 1;30-4pm: Walk in, float out. As you stress less and step into the sauna, steam room or bubbling hydrotherapy bath and plunge into paradise.
